Car audio xmas present (1 Viewer)

My girlfriend has dropped heavy hints that she'd like a cd player for her car.
The ones I saw were basically a cd walkman( which she has) and an attachemnt you stick in the tape deck- e15 in Argos.

I dont think that makes a very impressive christmas present so I was wondering is there anything better out there?

Would an MP3 player of some description be good in a car??

Should I write to Xtacy Xibit?

I haven't a clue...

Any advice would be great.

If you're going down the mp3 route, an iPod & one of those 3rd-party FM Transmitters would be pretty cool.

Yeah, they are. But think of all the fun could have with interfering with other people's personal stereos.

iPod with iTrip the way to go. I dunno though. Call into one of those scary car shops, I'm sure they can fit a cd changer in the boot.

this sounds great but a quick search tells me its really really expensive! over a months rent! Now I'm not saying she's not worth it...wait... I am

I think I'll have to call into Halfords or something- hopefully they wont be as Royston Vasey disturbing as the weirdos in that place by the ha'penny bridge
