Got an Amt K2 preamp pedal on the way (tone of a Krank Krankenstein amp) And a Mosky Tw , which is apparently a clone of a Wampler Tripplewreck.

Got them this week. The K2 is.... nice I guess. it's a good rounded kinda rock tone. It doesn't do that chunky gain saturation that a lot of amps/preamps go for. The Mosky on the other hand has gain for days, and like the triple rectifier amps it's matching, has a loose almost fuzz like low end. It really needs a tubescreamer to tighten it up.

this landed this morning - got it as I had the echo/delay pedal in the same range (which I have a strong suspicion is either a clone or a rebadge of the mooer micro pedals range)

havent played with it much but:

- squelchy sqiggles - check
- ear piecing self oscillations of the transistor apocalypse - check
- big swooshy hawkwind sounds - check

so it meets my primary requirements for flange. actually true bypass too - which is sometimes claimed for cheapo pedals but not actually the case.

I suspect

People buy it for the craic
throw it up on adverts in three years
someone uses it in a way it wasn't designed for
becomes 'worth' 122% of current price.

particularly if it goes out of production due to poor sales as novelty value only takes them so far..

alternative use - I'm thinking vocal pitch-shifting - that would be a bit cool

Bought a Keeley modded ds-1 yesterday for no real reason. So far I like it. Sounds better cleaner than my stock one, won't really know for sure though until it gets a play nice and loud.
