Can anyone recommend good camping sites in Germany or other euro countries?

we camped in germany on our way to bosnia/slovenia.

The municipal campsite in Munich was meh and at the campsite in Berlin our tent got broken into - nothing was taken except a few sterling coppers and a dirty hanky.
