evening.
i'm going to be making a music video in the next couple of weeks for a piece of newfangled rock and roll music.
it'll hopefully be a fairly simple thing, putting a few takes together and adding the music over the top.
however, i'd like the video we shoot to be good quality, if at all possible.
i have a digital camera (a canon powershot sx20-is) which can shoot video at 720p. is this 'good enough'? i'm comfortable with this camera, but i don't want to be stuck with sub-par stuff just because i know the camera well. or should we borrow (or shell out to rent) something better? if so, what should we get, and what should we avoid? how much?
also, any experiences you've had with shooting videos, advice, etc, much appreciated.
thanks.
