I dunno I am getting fed up of it at this stage and it is set to go on and on I don't even usually pay much attention to the UK. Corbyn is a bit hard or old school left I think which maybe divides the labour party a bit ? "Socialism in one country" is a bit weird maybe considering how many were part of the USSR. Labour still might win a general election if they got to chance but I honestly think T. May is holding the whole thing together and I can't even see anyone else who would be able to do it. There will maybe be a soft and slow or long drawn out Brexit and perhaps after a long enough time a referendum part two might happen and they will all be at loggerheads again.

The French have the right idea. Why the Brits are not taking to the streets and storming the Houses of Parliament and battering the fuck out of Tory MPs is beyond me. Although they do love to be told what to do by their betters!

Rich Torys are all for it. They have nothing to lose and don't seem to understand how more vulnerable will be affected

Open to correction but AFAIK the only roads to nowhere in the country are famine roads, a British idea.

Also all the ones in the direction of Cork.
Yeah, presumably he's conflating the idea of Famine Roads and EU infrastructure. He's heard something about roads to nowhere, he's heard something about EU grants for road building in Ireland and cleverly deduced they are the same thing. Almost like he's not very well informed.

With the obvious exception of Cork.

Little known fact, Dev actually begged England to take Cork off our hands, but England wasn't having any of it, immediately gave us Donegal, and told us not to go making any more trouble or they would fucking give us Wales too. Not another word was spoken on the matter.

In that Fintan O Toole thing from a few pages back (thats an hour long so i can see why people wouldn't watch it), he points out that the uk doesn't 'do' referendums. We have one like every year basically, so basically people aren't used to the process like we are.
