* http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Go_(game) if you don't already have it

* There's the new Lego series which are interesting although not all brilliant from what I can see, this one won an award and is quite fun (it's the only one I played)

Minotaurs looks good as well though.

* Also there's the classics with a twist, eg. Anti-Monopoly and some huge version of Scrabble.

I saw that in chapters the other day

* I'd play this all day if I had anyone who was willing to play it with me :(

EVERY MAN TO HIS STATION

"Every Man to his Station has a moral theme illustrated with scenes from every day country life. There are severe penalties imposed for bad behavior, notably being sent to the House of Correction, and for such misdemeanors as slothful behavior and theft. Rewards are given for charity, hardship, poverty and modesty."

I used to play Risk with my cousins on my uncles Mac about 15 years ago It was savage but as a result I now have no idea how to work the board game version. I mean it's the same game but without the automation and with the damage I've done to myself in the interim It just baffld me when I tried to play it pissed a few months ago. Must get it soon.

The Settlers of Catan is great if you're into civilisation building\trading type of games. Simple enough to learn but there are enough subtleties to keep it interesting in the long run.
