i like leek and potato soup, the ould favourite. you can't beat it.

Actually, speaking of carrot and coriander, Aldi do some lovely tubs of soup in carrot and coriander, tomato, leek and potato. Really thick and tasty and waay cheaper than those Fresh Avonmore soups or Loyd Grossman or any of that shite.

Tomato, wins hands down. hmmmmmm tomato.

Closely followed by leek and potato. Do you know whats nice, mashed potato drizzled with soup, like baby food.

Jesus. What era are you living in? They've come up with new kinds of soup since The Emergency dude. Cheers for the deadly mashed potato and soup recipe though, I'll have to send my friends a telegram about that one.

Didn't bother reading the thread. Soup is kind of cool, though I think it may have been surpassed lately by dips and/or parsnips.
