I liked the albums by Santigold, Andrew Bird, Bowie, Maxwell, Teen, Prince Rama, Nick Cave and still working on trying to understand the Kristin Hersh one.

I was a bit let down by the Angel Olsen album and underwhelmed by Frank Ocean.

My fav gigs were Belly and Mbongwana Star.


Mostly everybody died and especially Prince so fuck music.

My favourite albums off the top of me head would be Bowie, Anohni, and Nick Cave. The Nick Cave album sounds better every time I listen to it. I think it's the best thing he's done in about two decades or more.

Though my by far most listened to album of 2016 is the Beyonce one. Believe me, I know every beat, every line, every sample backwards, forwards and sideways. Thankfully, in spite of some I'll advised forays into 'rawk' territory halfway through, it is really really good.
