59 quid? when i was sixteen, you'd barely get a guitar for under one hundred quid. my cheap as chips aria pro II was IR£130.
i sold it to conor brophy, who was business editor for RTE news till a few years back.

if you factor in currency change and inflation its cheaper again - your aria pro ii would set you back about 250 now I'd say at least. (I paid the princely sum of 160£ for a squier strat in the mid-late 90s. )

the price/quality point for some of the stuff now in unbelievable.

we have to thank our new chinese robot overlords for this endless abundance of cheap guitars... a new era of 'fast' instruments?

what could possibly go wrong...
