I've had a real hankering for a single cut, single pick up melody maker recently. Not an old one,a recent cheap one. Wish I bought one when they were around.
Itch scratched.

I have a few 70s 100 Watt amps for sale if anyone is after a decent high headroom guitar head.
Tempting.
What are they ?
just out of curiousity
Vox v125 and the Roost for 450 each and then a Sound City 200 watt modded PA head for about twice that.

Might be interested in the Vox, This is a dumb question but does it sound like a Vox, (ie a bit like an AC30).
What sort of money would I want to be spending on a Cab?

It's EL34s rather than EL84s so not the same but does have some of the characteristics. Sorta between an AC30 and a late 70s Marshall. It's got a five band active eq so loads of tones can be dialled in easy enough. Can actually do a matching cab with it. It's the lead one in the links below.
