The amount of work that would need is gas.
One little pole supporting That balcony. mouldy timber everywhere I'd say You'd only be left with the external walls after clearing out all the rot.

hah, this place - my grandparents owned the shop next door i think. my dad used to help them out with odd jobs (i think the same people ran what is now the heel bar, which my dad worked in occasionally)

Yeah the midlands.... not a fan myself

Cost you a small fortune to refurb it.
Also you'd have to get planning permission, engineers in etc.
Prob only a little cheaper than simply buying a secondhand home that needs little to no work.

That's in a great location. Close to Coolnahay canal.

My cousins went to school in Sonna. It's a bit of a passing through area... parish probably diminished due to lack of people sticking around.

Still though. Good area. There's a tennis court nearby. Close to Ballynacarrigy where another Thumped head comes from. Bit of a demented area where the locals have a terrible reputation within the county. It's one of those villages where there's a lot of drug dealers and young people hooked on hard drugs. The Irish Harmony Korine could make a film about it.
