As none of you will click that link, ever, ever, i'm posting the blurb here

Ok bandcamp are donating their share of profits from sales to the American Civil Liberties Union which i think is a great gesture. I love that people that can get some music and lend support to something worthwhile in one move.

However I looked at the economics of this and it works out that if you buy our most recent release, Dreams - then you'll be donating around 0.75 Euro to the cause.

I propose that i'd prefer that you donate all of those 5 euro to the ACLU or Amnesty International.

I'll survive without that 5 euro and if my liberty is threatened it'll be better spent giving these people financial power to defend me.

If you'd really like to give us money, all our regular releases are still on sale on bandcamp - or you can buy this 15 second clip of 'I love My Job' from the Dreams album for 900 euro which will cover the cost of releasing our next album on vinyl, which i'd love to do.

If you do go straight to the ACLU or Amnesty international and donate any amount and let us know through twitter or facebook with some evidence then i'll send you a free digital download of any Captain A release on bandcamp - They get more money, you get some musical data for your music data processing machinery!!!!!

I was away from computer for most of Friday but when got on Bandcamp was struggling to cope with the traffic. It was nice to see the live purchases on the front page charge along.
Friday's haul:
- The Rooks Have Returned : Land Lovers
- Five Spanish Songs : Destroyer
- New Life : J. Cowhie

I would have liked to get more but the site was painfully slow, which is a good thing really.
