Bandcamp : Any tips for searching for decent stuff? (1 Viewer)

I have my Paypal finally sorted and I'm rummaging thru Bandcamp's Punk section but there is so much dross there , so I'm on the Hardcore Punk section now but I could still do with some tips or recommendations?

i dunno if bandcamp has much of a recommendation system beyond registering an account and following people with similar taste to your own

These are pretty good and they have several albums, not sure how I missed them before.

Only time I use bandcamp is if I'm looking to hear a particular band.

Best way I would suggest for searching through bandcamp is finding bands you like and click on people who supported that band and it will bring you to that users page and in their profile it will show what other bands that person supported

You should look through the "recommend me new bands" thread,you'd maybe get an idea from the taste of the people who have posted there.
