I've been doing more sketches for my woodwork stuff and found a coloured conté pencil on the floor and realised that if I used more colour they might be possible to follow.

Is there a go-to work horse reasonably priced brand of pencils you'd recommend?

Is there a go-to work horse reasonably priced brand of pencils you'd recommend?

Not my area of expertise but conte are a decent brand. A friend who uses pencils all the time uses Stabilo. Might be worth checking out.
