might as well ask this here :
when making links here for you tube etc. how do make the link viewable ?
i.e. you can see the same video box seen on you tube and not just a link.

Click the ... drop down button and select media. Paste the full YouTube url into the box that appears and click OK. When you post it will format it as an embedded video.

yeah, thanks folks - i used to use cut and paste method but it only made a link.
so i posted a video of some Colombian cycling on the
'what television series are you making your way through ?'
thread doing both above methods and the you tube boxes came up both times.
i.e. posted same thing twice.
go watch the video ! stage 6 of Tour Colombia in February 2019.
features all the Colombians who were starring at Giro (plus winner Carapaz from Ecuador)
and the Tour de France (Alaphilippe in Colombia too) in front of several hundred
thousand very happy locals on mountain highway outside Medellin.
