Think the wife was bitten by a false widow on Sunday. She only noticed when the (we guess what was a) blister burst, right in the middle of her back. Serious enough looking wound still. 2 or 3cms across. Not scabbing over yet.
 
This is what I want to know. She always getting bit by things on holiday while they leave me alone.

INSECTS (and spiders) LOVE HER.
 
I'm out on the coast in Cork, at this point I'm pretty much farming false widows.

I don't remember even seeing these boys in Ireland until I moved here, now they'd be common. The place is admittedly quite spidery in general though. There's a couple of girls I'd be borderline friends with these days.
 
Who dis?
It came down a strand of web all the way down to waist level. I shone a light on it and it climbed back up. Looks a bit false widow to me.
