I've seen one suspect... but lots of the giant cave/cellar spiders.
Lots more to come - I've only cleared the crap off and started unscrewing the top off.

Think the wife was bitten by a false widow on Sunday. She only noticed when the (we guess what was a) blister burst, right in the middle of her back. Serious enough looking wound still. 2 or 3cms across. Not scabbing over yet.

I got bit by something earlier this week. Bedroom tea tree'd to oblivion

I'm out on the coast in Cork, at this point I'm pretty much farming false widows.

I don't remember even seeing these boys in Ireland until I moved here, now they'd be common. The place is admittedly quite spidery in general though. There's a couple of girls I'd be borderline friends with these days.

Saw about 6 of them around the outside of my front door earlier, only small ones mind

It came down a strand of web all the way down to waist level. I shone a light on it and it climbed back up. Looks a bit false widow to me.
