I heard that the organiser was on Newstalk (or something else, the radio anyway) and said that some bands were getting paid, and others were getting the exposure.

I was due to play, but we pulled out for a number of reasons, one of which was that they never agreed a fee, despite being asked repeatedly. Same old shit, different fucking "festival".

Weird, we had no problem agreeing a fee. Of course if said fee doesn't materialize I'll make sure everyone knows.
