I dunno, Zidane gets an extra 200 points for head butting Maternazzi in the world cup final, lets face it
In 2009 I posted a 2006 online video game here called the ZIDANE HEADBUTT GAME.
ZZ had to run through walls of Materazzi clones headbutting them.

this is the RTE coverage of the first match I ever watched:
MAN UTD 2-1 LIVERPOOL, 1985 FA Cup Semi Final replay @ Maine Road.

I've only quickly flicked through this. Rush was injured most of 1984-85 and this was McGrath's breakthrough season after dislodging Gordon McQueen.
awful tackle by Jim Beglin on Strachan @1:39:40. probably a red nowadays.
and at 1:43:34 there's a brutal assault on Jesper Olsen who is sent flying after Kevin McDonald who put his studs into Olsen's thigh. the reaction of Rush and Roy Evans is hilarious.
both Beglin and McDonald only got booked!

anyway defeat and then Heysel didn't put me off and I'm still here...

when old pundits like Souness (who had joined Sampdoria the previous summer) or Keown go on about diving or something else they deem 'cheating', I have to laugh.
breaking a players jaw (Souness v Dinamo Bucharest 1984) is more what I'd call 'cheating'.

West Ham for Europe all the way, baby. Loving this new Moyes set up with Antonio, Cresswell and all the boys. Mark fuckin' Noble.

Leicester - have some quality players, eh Youri Tielesmans, fuckin' yes baby, but Brendan Rodgers, yeah, he's the fella that left his wife and ran off with some young wan costing Liverpool the title that time.

Oh right, duh, the FA Cup final is today.

Absolutely Leicester ftw!

[ Edit : I thought the above was just some random cheering for them to get into the Champions League]

West Ham = two porn kings and the Baroness who supports Arsenal.

I remember feeling really sorry for the Hammers when they lost in 2006, unfortunately like a lot of upstart teams they blew their big moment.

Great to see all the fans coming into Wembley now - yeah!

Serious strategy of mine to stick on Roots by Sepultura in the second half there.

Tielesmans' favourite album probably.

[There's no sound on these illegal streams.]

Yahoooo! FUCK YEAH! I really enjoyed that.
This is why I watch football.
Exciting to see supporters-in-a-stadium.
A huge personal triumph for Rogers who got everything right.
Of his players only Iheanacho was disappointing but he doesn't owe anyone anything 'cause of his recent performances.
VAR is an excitement killer at times for supporters in the stadium but if it's interepted properly using it is a no brainer. Today was VAR finest hour.
Kudos to Nate for mentioning Tielemans earlier - he had a hell of a game and this could be Belgium's summer.
Huge respect to Kaspar who only had a few things to do but was super when he needed to be. A really impressive guy who sums up Leicester - like the club Kaspar is the someone who deserves to have good things happen to him.
To see how many Asian supporters there are in Leicester is awesome. A huge change since the 90's.
The Leicester owners understand how simple running a football club can be:
Respect the fans, understand and support the local community, consistently good to inspired decision making and if you get those things right you are welcome to enjoy the reflected glory.

Leicester legend Alan Smith is commentating on Brighton v West Ham at moment - you'd think they could have given him the night off.

was that a Palestinian flag Choudry had after the match ? good on him.
Anyway a great day for football.

Oh shit!
I am in the middle of a long walk and forgot the play offs were on.
Yeah that would be good - Barnsley had a miraculous escape on the last day of the season and after changing managers late last year stormed up the table from nowhere.
I don't think Brentford have been in top flight since just after the war...

Blasted '012:2' by Coalesce x 2 in the second half and it seemed to see Brentford through. Figured they were metalcore kids, albeit underrated ones.

Yeah, Brentford were absolutely killing them in the second half. It was a joke the amount of chances they were making. I was worried they were going to rue not absolutely murdering Bournemouth in the 80 something minutes.

Iraq or Afghanistan?

Iraq or Afghanistan?
I walked about 11 miles and made it back alive from the Persian Gulf.
Got back to see last 16 km of Zoncolan stage of Giro. So unfortunately I missed Brentford's win.
Atletico Madrid are kicking off at 5pm in Vallalolid shortly starting 2 points ahead of Real on final day of the season.
