1990s TV Kids show on time travel (1 Viewer)

I am looking for this TV show (non animated!) that features a family that (I don't remember how) travels back in time to the middle ages and is confronted with a lot of magic. They carry this armor that can produce electric waves when they slash their forearms against each other.

I believe the show was Australian because the protagonist family came from sydney.
