Just started My Grandmother Sends Her Regards and Apologises by Fredrik Backman - I enjoyed his other book A Man Called Ove - this one is off to a great start.

I gave up on Murakami's Dance Dance Dance and started on Kurt Vonnegut's Slaughterhouse 5 instead. Much better.

I picked up The Left hand of Darkness by Ursula K Le Guin - was there some discussion of her work on here recently? I'm finding it slow going and hard to get into, but am sticking with it in the hope that it picks up. Also got Neil Gaiman's Sandman, Preludes and Nocturns Vol 1 graphic novel.

Ah ok; I seem to recall some discussion but I wasn't sure where. I'm not far off the end, but I'd love to be able to chat with others who've read it once I'm finished. There's a lot to "unpack" in it, shall we say.

I'm really enjoying it! It's great though sad, cruel, a bit shocking, but dammit I'm sort of caring about this character! It's very funny too. Did you read it / like it??
