It's got a prog hangover and most of it could have been on the likes of Genesis' Nursery Cryme or Foxtrot. PG2 is produced by Robert Fripp and sounds a lot more claustrophic and edgy. New wave mixed with The Who [On The Air especially]

A seriously impressive run of singles when played back-to-back. Lovely set with sleevenotes by Peter Robinson. My first Parcel Motel delivery. They need to do one for The Saturdays as well.

Nice selection. The Wilson Pickett and Talking Heads are killers. That Herbie Hancock record is great. Searing summer vibes - it came out in August 1976 which is kinda appropriate. Love the Canteloupe Island.

Volume 2 isn't as good although it's only let down by disc 4. The rest is decent mostly. Not too expensive either [or wasn't anyway]

a mixed bag - more filler than killer. But there's loads of deadly A-sides that I didn't know.
