In my last conference call before I went on maternity leave, my boss demanded on a "fancy dress" theme, proceeded to be the only one who dressed up and left camera on. He dressed in dickensian wear. One of my colleagues forgot to mute their mic and said to his wife who asked when he wanted...

First day back in the office today (I have a job where I can work from home when I want anyway, just back in because I needed some hardware), and its empty! We're on 5 floors, usual capacity of a good 400 or so, I'd say, and I've only seen about 5 people. My floor is totally empty which is very...

Does anyone work from home/primarily work remotely? I know it sounds very prissy and no one loves working, but my office job and the social elements to it have been really badly affecting my mental health of late. Would love some advice on getting into remote work that won't make a very...

I'd really have to grapple with myself about whether the opportunity to punch that fuck in the face was worth losing my job over. And I'm not sure what conclusion I would come to.

I feel this so much, it's something I've been mulling over and going back and forth on the past few months. You know where I work like. I took my job because I needed health insurance and I needed to get out of a hole of medical debt on the back of chronic illness, so I try to keep that as a...
