Two episodes into Treason on Netflix which is about the deputy head of MI6 and his murky past. There are only five episodes but I don't think I can be arsed finishing it. It's dumb and lacking any redeeming features. If you need some spy tv then something like Slow Horses is way better.

The Gilded Age - this got a well deserved one star review in the Guardian. Julian Fellowes series a about new money vs old money in 1880s New York. Absolute trash. I'm hooked after all 77 mins of episode one.

Only Murders in the Building on Disney+. Steve Martin, Selena Gomez and Martin Short in a murder mystery comedy which is about 70% there on the way to being great. Enjoyable all the same.

Season 3 of Search Party. It's a few years since I watched season 2. This one probably isn't as good but it's still fun. I've heard season 4 is better so am going to start that soon.

Season 5 of The Wire. Three episodes in - the first two episodes were ok but if I remember correctly from my first watch then it's pure shite right until the end.

The BBC adaptation of Pride and Prejudice. Five stars. Must read the book at some point.

Bridgerton - very enjoyable fluff. A nice antidote to the misery of The Crown. This Country - gentle and funny mockumentary from the BBC about two cousins living in a rural village.

Roadkill (on BBC). A four-part political thriller/drama with Hugh Laurie as a dodgy Tory minister. The first episode is decent and you think it could end up great but it all falls apart quickly enough. Ridiculous plot holes all over the place.

The Capture on BBC. Ridiculous conspiracy thriller show with dull dialogue and lots of plot holes. Suitable only for mindless watching on the morning commute and if it was any longer than six episodes I'd give up.

series 2 of Stath Lets Flats on Channel 4. I can see why people would think it is either total shit or just mediocre. The highs totally make up for the bits that fall flat though for me.
