True. We got there late so were marooned down the back. Had loads of pints as a result but at least weren't barging through the crowd. Well except anyone on the stairs but those people know what to expect.

Was at the evening show. They were great. The keyboards are fantastic on the newer songs but muddied a lot of the older ones. The encore as a four piece worked well for that reason. What Happens to People was a highlight. Was BC in Bowie-esque get up cw Deirdre Barlow glasses at the matinee as well?

Ok fair enough but I think by the standards of the time Dublin had a pretty good crop of instrumental bands. The post rocky ones were a bit more arty, a bit less "here's the pretty bit and then here comes the big crescendo" than some of the groups that were big at the time. And the more mathy...

In theory I am too but there were some very good post/math-rock instrumental bands and folky singers knocking about then. Rednecks, Connect4, Ten Past Seven, Jimmy Cake, Daemian Frost sharing the stage with the likes of Goodtime, Paul O'Reilly etc.
