My auld lad retired in April, has been loving putting his feet up since then. Left the house for the first time last week (apart from going for a short walk or cycle) and broke his kneecap coming out of a shop.

Fuck! How bad is the damage teeth-wise? I got my two front teeth broken by a scummer years ago. Looked bad initially but the dentist was able to sort it out much better than I imagined. Don't be down on yourself anyway, these things happen.

An old housemate of mine hated download codes. He enjoyed when records didn't have them as it forced him to sit down with the album and give it his undivided attention more often. He was a very abstemious fellow. When we watched the Wire we were only allowed one episode per week. My other...

I had a Spanish podiatrist start operating before the local anaesthetic kicked in on an ingrown toenail. In fact that wasn't the only time a local anaesthetic didn't work on me. I had pins put into my thumb one time and it hadn't kicked in by the time the surgeon arrived so he just knocked me...

Ha, I once got one in Thailand and after a certain length of time the lady enquired if I'd like to be, well, finished off. When I shook my head she seemed to get quite upset. Sheesh, I thought it was surely a good thing to spare her that.

Elaborate please. I'd certainly be willing to try it. Might try a massage first. At least I'll enjoy the massage even if it doesn't cure me in any way. Speaking of which, I've never got a massage in Dublin. Can anyone recommend a place?

Yeah it's frustrating. Twice in the past 12 months I've had doctors basically tell me there was nothing when there clearly was. You always get the same shite thrown at then as well - stress, IBS or some other nebulous bullshit.

I don't think you can get a 'touch' of chronic fatigue, can you? A good friend has that, I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy (he describes it as think of your worst hangover and imagine that every single day; indefinitely). I have a weird health issue myself going on a whole month. I get a...

Don't think it's ever been easy. You need to request a P21 to get a balancing statement. Be careful though because if you've underpaid you'll be hit with a bill rather than tax back.
