Liked the movie. Jennifer Connolly was steering me towards watching the show but the reports of others steering me back away. Isolating at the moment. Really need to settle on a show before we kill ourselves. Did people like His Dark Materials in the end? What about The Plot Against America?

Narcos. Had thought I was done with it but watched started on the latest season and it's quite good. Diego Luna has all the charisma of well pampered armpit - "Ta bueno, ta bueno" but Scoot McNairy's always good. It helps that i don't really know the story.

Yeah it's amazing, although I was destroyed recently by some proper literary types for suggesting it was better than Frankenstein.

I watched the film and then read the book a bit later and remember thinking at the time they weren't all that similar. It is ages ago and I suppose it's all relative. Some adaptations only bear a passing resemblance to the novel. I guess Gary Oldman's big bulbous head and Keanu Reeves going...

I don't think FFC's version was all that faithful despite being nominally 'Bram Stoker's' Dracula.

Struggled through to the end of season 2 of The Terror. Second half it really lost it's way after a good start. Wasn't terrible or anything but not a patch on season. Not that it had anything to do with S01. I think the only connection is Ridley Scott as Executive Producer. None of the same...

Gave this a go. Never read the books or anything. It was alright. Might stick with it. Also started season 2 of The Terror.
