I think I know the cinema you're talking bout. That's weird. It's not worth travelling further afield for though.

What movie did you watch last night?

Saw The Visit last night. As much as I really wanted to like it, I didn't. Some nice weird moments at the start but it never really tips over into the weirdness or spookiness that it promises. I thought he might do something interesting with the found footage device but it was by the numbers...

The Happening is one of the most entertaining films ever made. "You should be more interested in science, Jake. You know why? Because your face is perfect.". (sed to a 15 year old boy by Mark Wahlberg's character)

What movie did you watch last night?

Ah the bit where he gets his daughter to drop the grenades off the rooftops to triangulate his position is brilliant. No regard for anyone down below, just drop the grenades. Saw Avengers in the BFI Imax on Sunday night. Really enjoyed it. Spader is great as Ultron, it's really entertaining...

What movie did you watch last night?

I really wasn't a fan of The Conjuring. Didn't Mark Kermode say it was a horror film for people who don't usually watch horror films? I think that's pretty spot on

What movie did you watch last night?

Mario Bava's Blood & Black Lace. The first giallo. For anyone with a decent tv set up this is an absolutely beautiful restoration on Bluray and well worth picking up.
