That's what I meant.... I'm surprised that more MPs aren't being openly racist, as they're certainly representing a lot of racists, and certainly a lot of them are themselves racists, to some degree.

Without veering into too much hyperbole it's worth remembering that a third of Britons admit to being racially prejudiced, and the UK has over 60,000 hate crimes a year. In that context we're lucky that this sort of thing isn't much more common.
