Picked this up yesterday, pretty easy read and finished it earlier this evening. It's funny in places but each chapter is just more like a overlong anecdote rather than a solid autobiography.

Just picked this up, eventually, yesterday and am about 40 pages in so far. I can't get into it properly for another while until I finish this blasted thesis but then it's full on into it. Who knew college academics had such steamy sex lives?

If it's the Lost Revolution book he's on about, it's really really good.

Yeah it was only released yesterday, I got it in Easons. Most newspapers have printed extracts from it or reviewed it since the weekend so it should be very easy to come by.

Picked up the "The Lost Revolution: The Story of the Official IRA and the Workers' Party" today after all the papers printed extracts from it over the last few days. It looks pretty decent after the first few pages.

Superb.

In the pile to get going on: And also this: Revolutionary Underground-The Story of The Irish Republican Brotherhood 1858-1924 by Leon O Broin which doesn't seem to exist online bar a single copy on Amazon for over $300.

yeah, my attention span really is shot to shite. I really should get around to finishing the other 5 or 6 books I've started as well..

Just got this (version I have has a far cooler cover) in HMV for €13. Two entries in so far, pretty great.

But still to finish first:

No Country For Old Men by Cormac McCarthy. It was going cheap in HMV so I picked it up. Great read after seeing the film. Filled in my theories nicely so it did. Also got Charlie Wilson's War to read after it too. (Yes, I only buy books after seeing the films)

I hate college readings.

I like Hitchen's sentiments and agree with himself and Dawkins et al but that book was incredibly bad. Patronising the whole way through.

Picked up the Rupert Everett autobiography and the the Complete Prose collection of Woody Allen's work which i can't wait to read. Still have to finish Cancer Ward first though..

Ha, just bought it from Amazon Marketplace for 6 quid. Sound lads for the offers though!

Making my way through this now. Found it randomly in the library and took it out. Its the original Penguin 1969 translation so its a bit off sometimes but its very very very good. If anyone has a spare copy of A Day In The Life of Ivan Denisovivch, I'll gladly buy it off you. Japans Quiet...
