just stay in the Roisin after the gig. late night opening, class music, no need to go anywhere else. there's a couple of other cool bars just down the road as well. wouldn't stray too far from that side of town, unless it's trad music/RnB you're after.

c n p: best festival in the world. marred slightly by some poor decision-making on my part, eg smuggling drink in on thursday, knocking it back in rapid time and ending up so twisted that i lost all ability to function - i kept going up to the bars constantly trying to pay for drink with money...

Galway was excellent, very very loud. Built to Spill really impressed me, had never seen them live before, the guitar lines are amazing Dinosaur were without Murph who's sick, but really impressed too. played a good bit of early stuff, Forget the Swan was awesome, so was Little Fury Things...
