Public Transport options - Dublin to Kenmare

Travelling to Kenmare early in the new year for a friend's birthday, but I've to sort out my own transport. I don't drive so public transport is the only option. Is there a bus connection from Tralee/Killarney? Do Bus Eireann have a direct bus from Dublin to Kenmare? (Which expressway route is...

    Need ideas: Dessert

I'm heading to a dinner party in a couple of days and have been asked to make a dessert, there will be around 12 people attending. My dilemma is that I'll be getting public transport to the dinner so whatever I make/bring has to be easy to transport, but also large enough to feed everyone. I...

2 Tickets for Spring Break in Tripod @7:30 (Tonight, 15th August)

The person I was meant to go with can't go now and I don't want them to go to waste, as I paid 40quid for 'em. So if anyone wants a night of cheesey 80s pop/power ballads just PM me your email address and you can have 'em.

    12 second cocktails!

This may be of some use to some of you. A girl I know is involved in this site. It's a US site with instructional videos which show you how to make various cocktails and they should take in and around 12 seconds to make. Some of the ingredients I've never heard of, but I'm sure they're...

    Smirnoff Cocktails

I've seen these in Superquinn, they seem to be a ready made Mojito and a Cosmopolitan bottle. The bottle says you just shake well and serve. Has anyone tried either of them? Worth the €15? I'm quite partial to a Mojito, but I'm usually too lazy to make them, or too broke to buy 'em while out.

    Pilates in Dublin City Centre

I've just found out I've a pretty serious back injury, which rules me out of doing any proper sport for a few months. I've been told by my physio to take up pilates. I can't seem to find any classes which are just starting up, or who'll take on new members a week, or two into their sessions...

    Getting a phone number blocked

Why is this so frigging difficult? I'm basically being harassed by a person who can't take a hint and it seems the only way I can get my mobile phone provider to block their number is if I get the Gardaí involved. Why is this the case? I basically have to change my number, after 8 years, in...

    Killarney

My folks are heading down to Killarney for the Easter weekend, my dad is climbing Carrantouhil on the Saturday, which leaves my mum with some free time to doss around herself. Can anyone suggest anything that's worth doing, or seeing while they're down there. Particularly any craft type...

    Motivational music/stuff

I didn't really know what forum to put this in. I'm playing in an All Ireland Final on Saturday and I'm trying to get a bit of music together to make a play list to help get me psyched up for it. I've been finding it hard to get motivated so any motivational music, or reading material...

Things to bring people in hospital ...

Friend of mine will be in hospital for a while after a pretty serious op. Heading in to visit her tomorrow, but I'm sort of at a loss as to what to bring her. Was going to bring my Nintendo DS and a few games for her to borrow and a couple of books, but after that I'm stuck. Any ideas of any...

    Impulse food buys ...

Is there anything you can't pass in a supermarket without chucking it in your trolly/basket? I'm about to head to Tesco (The mammy is bringin' me food shopping). I know I'll come home with tonnes of trash. Probably no booze though, as they keep asking me for ID and I don't have any other than...
