    Favorite Star Trek TNG Baddies

The best one ever was that thing that took over people's personalities - direct rip off of the thing in Wrath of Khan - but at the end Picard and Ryker actually blew the guys head off and loads of scorpion things came out of him! At four in the afternoon! It was gory as fuck!

    Science/Fantasy fiction bukes

I wasn't that fussed on the Void trilogy - it was alright, but I preferred the Greg Mandel books (later ones anyway) and the earlier commonwealth stuff. Plus - Biononics? Fuck off. Two books I'd recommend for a good entertaining read are Altered Carbon by Richard Morgan, which is class and has...

    Science/Fantasy fiction bukes

I would definitely read the Fall of Hyperion as soon as possible - I ended up reading them both again after leaving a gap between them initially, and the plot gets fairly complex (lots of interconnecting stories to remember) so it tied up a lot of loose ends! I thought the ending was very...

    The A Team.

We enjoyed it so much we stayed til the credits were over just in case there were extra scenes! And there were! Hurrah!

    The A Team.

Was actually class. Dumb as a bag of hammers, but really good fun. What are the odds! I actually read some reviews after seeing it, and there seemed to be a lot of critics complaining about the lack of character development?!? It's the bloody A TEAM! Not an undiscovered Kurosawa film!

Lost Series 6 - expect spoilers immediately after US air date

The BSG ending almost ruined the entire series for me, and I LOVED that show. One of the most half baked, poorly written pieces of shit I've had the misfortune to watch, which given how good the rest of it was was incredibly disappointing. I loved the Lost ending to be honest, I know what...

    I Am Fighter

Dunno whether this is art OR culture, but it certainly made me laugh. Part 4 is a winner..

    I have the horn for...

In fairness, the Guardian does give you cancer. According to the Daily Mail (a paper for right wing retards if ever there was one).

    I have the horn for...

First time posting in this thread - anyhow, here's a favourite of mine: And here she is on the ol' geetah. Speaks four languages and thinks being naked is lovely. What's not to like?! Carice VanHouten

    Science/Fantasy fiction bukes

I disagree completely! Sure - a lot of space opera is poorly characterised, but there is a hell of a lot of it which is beautifully written. Read Hyperion if you want a good start, it follows all the usual sci-fi norms of big space battles etc etc, but reads like literature. Amazing book. EDIT...

This is as addictive as hell

Jesus.. I see what you mean. It seems to be populated purely by wankers and weirdos now. Ah well. Another great web experiment gone awry.

This is as addictive as hell

Oh dear.. I've only tried it for a while and mostly got random weird stuff, like a full band playing into the webcam, and then I had a fifteen minute chat with a french dude about music. You didn't put "mutewank" into your preferences did you?

This is as addictive as hell

The joys of random interfacing with strangers.. a warning- some of it can be a bit explicit! Chatroulette It's completely hilarious though.

Little Phatty? Or just stick to Moog emulators?

You know - that's probably the best response I've ever had to the reasons for owning a Moog! I just would hate to buy it and then think "ah god, I can do all this in software, AND it's easier to mixdown". But then - tweaking it live is half the fun. And it does sound class... Thanks Serpico...

Little Phatty? Or just stick to Moog emulators?

Hello chaps and ladies, After managing to save up enough to buy a little phatty, I'm now having a crisis of confidence about whether to spend the money I've worked so hard to get on something I can emulate! I do use emulated Moog sounds a lot (see Figurine on Here : Gironans myspaz)...

    Avatar - James Cameron

I'm one too then Flashback! Saw it last night.. I'd imagine if you were on some kind of psychedelic yer head might pop. It's the most colourful movie I've ever seen! The facial animation on the aliens was extraordinary too. Dialogue was just above Lucas though. JUST.

    Winter coats for men

I have a ridiculous amount of winter jackets.. I dunno why I can't walk past a bloody shop without buying one but there we go. Must be a man thing. If you're in belfast - superdry have some fantastic jackets that are cheap...
