Right now we're seeing a seriously dysfunctional market being tightly manipulated and controlled by government and banks to suit their own interests. Plenty of advantages to ownership - irrespective of economics - like being able to fix issues properly, ability to do up a gaff nicely, long term...

Fair play

The marathon is happening, and I have to drive to Clonsilla.

I still had lots of fun. Fair play to everyone who helped and pulled out all the stops. My only gripe was with the bar.. long queues all night and pretty slow staff.

No, it's just a bar. There is an offy attached to Kavanagh's on Dorset St which is also run by the Mulligans crowd. I think your best bet would be Redmonds in Ranelagh, afaik the biggest selection of craft beer in the city.
