What movie did you watch last night?

Personally I liked Dagon - despite its name it is actually a version of Shadow over Innsmouth. Much like the same directors Re-Animator, its too over the top to be called 'a good adaptation' but its a good fun film. I like the old Dunwich Horror from 1970 but a lot has been changed from the...

What movie did you watch last night?

^Agreed. Pretty much perfect Lovecraft adaptation. Have you seen Whisperer in the Darkness by the same people. Not quite as good and loses it a bit in the end but still a great watch.

What movie did you watch last night?

Yeah, I seen The Outfit and Rolling Thunder. Both great films. The Outfit is another version of Point blank which I think I preferred though.

What movie did you watch last night?

Watched this last night after you mentioning. FUcking great film - thanks for the heads up. I don't think I even heard of it before. The leads were great in it especially Joe Don Baker (as usual).

What movie did you watch last night?

Great Anthology film from back when Romero made decent stuff. Worth watching to see an allstar cast chew up the scenery. I saw this in the cinema when it came out - that place on the quays where Jimmy Chungs is. Claude Rains plays the Invisible Jerk in this underrated Universal Film - which...

    Horror

Good list though I haven't seen 'Don’t Deliver Us from Evil' - i have a copy but never got around to it. I would consider both Exorcist 3 and Session 9 popular horror films though.

Pumpkin Beer/Ale - where can i get some in Dublin?

Rang Redmond's and they have a Redhook Pumpkin Beer for €2.99 (I think). I think that's a porter. The also had Blue Harvest which was slightly dearer at €3.29. Sweeneys never heard of Pumpkin beer at all and were kinda amused by my enquiry but said they would look into it.

Thanks a million for that - I will try those places. Do Mulligans have a offie section? Though it was just a bar/restaurant.

Pumpkin Beer/Ale - where can i get some in Dublin?

I have the 31st off, so I plan on spending the afternoon/evening on a mini-horror fest. I have lined up Trick R Treat, The Devil Rides Out and The Fog - I was planning on having a few beers and some roasted in the shell peanuts. So I was thinking some Pumpkin Beer would be nice and festive. Any...

What movie did you watch last night?

I was so looking forward to this one. I did enjoy it but not as much as the directors other films. Maybe I was too hyped for it. The film looks amazing, the cinematography/lighting looks so good.I am not sure what lost me on it.

What movie did you watch last night?

Totally agree - some great acting from the kids and I enjoyed Michael Shannon's cameo. Hangover III: I should have know better, really I should. Not even John Goodman can save this comedy without jokes. Ok - I did smirk a bit at Chows antics and I did laugh out loud at the Monster...
