Its way more mainstream than another of his stuff i've seen. Theres a bit of blood in it but not worse than most in the genre (for the most part). I think its actually a remake of a 60's film...

Though similar to the Seven Samurai (or Battle Beyond the Stars for that matter) - this was an excellent Japanese Samurai Saga. Miike was way more restrained than I expected (not that it was a bad thing) with only one scene containing one of his more grotesque touches. Its 140min running time...

Yeah Videodrome is by far my fave of Cronenberg's work - I do love Dead RIngers too..

Stupid mindless, full of plot holes, poor acting AND i love it lol. It was kinda long so i had to pace my beer. There is also a scene where Vin stand nose to nose with the Rock (I think the box he stands on is now my fave film prop).

Did you like 'Inside'? No seen this since i watched it in the Odeon back in the day....I was suprised how good it still was and how younf Christian Slater looked in it....SO BE IT!!!!!

I agree it wasn't great but I think he wasn't a bad choice for the character (I'm a bit of a fan boy though). Alot of that footage is from a documentary - Crime Inc - The True Story Of The Mafia. Alot of the footage they tried to mimic came from that.

I think Julian Sands in Witch hunt is the worse hands down. I thought he was Jamaican at first... I too watched: I was really looking forward to it but my expectations were lowered after hearing mixed reviews. So I must say I really enjoyed though it did have the potential to be an epic...

I liked it (and the cheap Polish Lager too) - didn't need to be tidied up so much at the end.. BTW - I kinda liked Malefique - Pontypool was great too.

Mockumentry about the titular Punk Rock Band. Really good - great characters, great music - a real suprise..

Nope went to the Cinema....I pretty much check out any horror related stuff that opens here.

I enjoyed it...It was as good as I expected and ended well...Also the effects weren't as good as the airbrushing on that poster.

No one invites me any where :( Yeah I liked McBride since Fist Foot Way (I used to be a TKD instructor so i can relate) - Eastbound and Down was good but just very repetitive....That said I still like the guy and will check out this film for sure..

Yeah - the social commentry was very like this Robocop bits...I think the CGI stands up pretty well too.. That poor womans boobs can never get a break...

Still enjoy this film despite all its faults.
