I have to agree. The main problem is that they are stretching out a premise that doesn't have that much legs to start with. Also, Dexter is just way too nice in this series. He hardly even kills anyone anymore (unless he is really forced into it).

I don't think it "get's better" as such but as time goes on, and you get more involved in the characters and the environment, it becomes gradually more and more powerful. I really enjoyed the first series simply because it has better acting, scripts, filming, and so on than anything else out...

Yeah exactly. I didn't like it much in the beginning either. At first you just think they are a bunch of assholes. Then they become a bunch of slightly endearing assholes. After that, they are just hilarious. And, as I said, Ari is one of the best TV characters ever.

Have to disagree about Entourage. I liked it a lot. It's worth for the Ari character alone. What's the Owl Service?

In Treatment - the yoke where Gabriel Byrne plays a psychiatrist. Watched about 15 episodes so far .... not really convinced by it ..... I think it might be time to delve into Wire Season 5.
