Personally I feel the music of the Script is a bit obvious and gets the reviews it deserves. Ah no, I know what you're saying, there's that Carl Wilson book that goes into great detail about that kind of thing. The joke being that now, 10+ years later, Celine Dion is considered cool.

An honest appraisal of ones feelings is better than pretending you like something because you're afraid of being called elitist or a snob. The Script are selling out the Point, they've already won the game.

Well i'm not up to date on every band from Ireland/Dublin but for me Pillow Queens are the Dublin band who really represent what its like to come from the shitty suburbs of Dublin, even if everyone else just wants to talk about the lesbian angle. Could never see Fontaines writing a song like...

I think you had to be on their mailing list. They're still choosing the tracklist for it so i'd say give it a few weeks and there'll be a proper preorder. Honestly, hating them for the laff aside, I'm surprised how weak this song is and how few lyrics are in it.
