^Agreed. Pretty much perfect Lovecraft adaptation. Have you seen Whisperer in the Darkness by the same people. Not quite as good and loses it a bit in the end but still a great watch.

Yeah, I seen The Outfit and Rolling Thunder. Both great films. The Outfit is another version of Point blank which I think I preferred though.

I was so looking forward to this one. I did enjoy it but not as much as the directors other films. Maybe I was too hyped for it. The film looks amazing, the cinematography/lighting looks so good.I am not sure what lost me on it.

I wanted to see this for some time but was pretty disappointed. It had great cinematography and the sets were amazing. I just couldn't really get into the story.

Totally agree - some great acting from the kids and I enjoyed Michael Shannon's cameo. Hangover III: I should have know better, really I should. Not even John Goodman can save this comedy without jokes. Ok - I did smirk a bit at Chows antics and I did laugh out loud at the Monster...

Point Blank - Excellent though strange original film version of the revenge novel, The Hunter. (remade as The Outfit/Payback and most recently Porter). I keep noticing more everytime I see this film... Stand up guys - Great cast dial it in. Pretty terrible but I can watch Walken in anything.
