They are tremendously wealthy though. It can be kind of disheartening to see rich kids being the only ones who can afford to get a band together. It's a whole debate they've been having for a few years: Let’s talk about class | 33revolutionsperminute's Blog I dunno. I like Vampire Weekend for...

Yeah, no one likes that album except me though. The band pretty much refuse to acknowledge its existence as far as I can tell.

I gave it a shot but it sounded to me like a duller version of Primary Colours. It certainly wasn't bad but I'd already had enough of that kind of thing from them. Sea Within in a Sea though, what a tune:

I miss the Horrors who weren't trying so very hard to be MBV. Strange House was great! In fairness so was Primary Colours but the last two just seem to be more of the same.

meant to edit that bit out. Was gonna say: "The people who work there do seem a million times more hipster than me but were generally friendly so who cares what they look like" but that sounded far too open minded.

I've been to Fumbally once or twice, which is surprising since it's only 5 mins from my house, and my only real gripe is that all their coffee is weirdly plum flavoured. The people who work there do seem a million times more hipster than me but were ge as for Berlin, well... i've posted it...

Actually the chorus to that song is fairly cool so I guess it's not that dreadful. I googled the Black Keys and they at least managed to not fuck up this Kinks cover: can't we all just get along??

I don't know anything about the Black Keys but that Black Eyed Peas song is DREADFUL. I remember liking some of Fergie's solo stuff though, nice riff on Little Richard in this one:
