    The show is mixed. Some episodes are amazing, others are throwaway but overall quality of the first 3 series is daycent.

    I just finished S7 of the Shield last night. The final few episodes were phenomenol, some of the best series finale stuff I've ever seen.

    I just finished watching Our Friends In The North. It's deadly, great scope etc. The only major flaw is the dodgy ageing of the characters. Each episode is a little over an hour long and each is named for the year it's set. The series is set over a 30 year period.

    I watched all of Gavin and Stacey Series 1 the other night. It was deadly.
