I remember that early 90's Torino team well but to be honest it was huge shock when Milan bought Lentini for 13 million in summer 1992. I wouldn't have noticed him much in a fine team w/ Scifo, Casagrande, Marchegiani, Martin Vasquez, Mussi etc.
the Torino team that nearly won the 1992 UEFA Cup was all left before 1995. inc. a very young Vieri who was on the bench in Amsterdam. several of them joined Roma and Lazio inc. Annononi (Roma) who played for Celtic years later.
Walter Casagrande played w/ Socrates in the 'Corinthian democracy' team in the mid 80's but later got addicted to cocaine but came through it.
coach Mondonico eventually passed away after several bouts of cancer a few years ago.
