You can absolutely be The Guy That Is Quite Meh On Christmas. People will get it soon enough and the invites shall cease.

My wife is off to talinn in a few months for a choir competition. She won't get to see an awful lot I suspect with the performances and rehearsals etc.

quite a bit of panic now as ryanair have cancelled their routes to talinn from april onwards. thankfully herself was booked on lufthansa.

any explanation given? Its about 6 hours by road to Riga, or a quick hop on the ferry to Helsinki so at least there are other options.
