i think the idea is that you do your facebooking in that extension's container and that container only so that it can't access your normal non-facebook browser activity. Details here:

By the way, this is probably a reasonable enough place to ask this. I'm going to try and dump gmail (because Google). What do people use for personal email? What's good? Was looking at Tutonota and Protonmail. I don't mind paying a few quid a month ...
