It is a bad sign when dentist decides to just extract a tooth there and then.

Well I lie, the broken half of a tooth from my cycling accident from 2 weeks ago. He is referring me to a dental surgeon on extracting the remaining and have an implant fitted.

Once the numbness wore off, the extraction has helped a good bit. It was so loose it moved when I ate or drank or spoke.

The other damaged tooth, he filled

Can'tt decide if this elastic elbow support yoke is making the pain from this tennis elbow worse or better

More dental surgeon, he removed the root on Tuesday, he fitted the dental implant but couldn't put a temporary crown on it.

I need to go back in two Tuesday's time to have the stitches removed. I can see the wire in my gum with the stitch and just still sore 5 days on.

I am trying my best with brushing but very hard as I am told to avoid the area of the stitch.

When I got home on Tuesday, I got a phone call from Gardai. They could not identify the owner of the red calf that caused the accident

I can hear in stereo again

Lucky you dude, I can only hear in mono and have been like this all my life because of one sided deafness.

Small sacrifice to many people out there who are suffering much worse than us. Your wealth is indeed your health.

weighed 15 stone mid December 2017.
had only lost 10-12 lbs. by late April partly due to shit weather.

i did a post here about my progress on May 22nd which was the day before
the really warm weather began actually.

anyway between end of April and mid June i lost about 20 lbs.
i got a bit less strict about restricting eating carbs from then on
and surprised myself by continuing to lose weight.
i did a hell of a lot of walking before weather finally faded - 165 miles in June.
by this month got weight to under 12 stone...
BUT now reality is kicking in again -
missed walking a lot of days recently - unpredictable showery days.
also i'm eating far more than 150g of Oatmeal i mentioned earlier:
i ate at least 500 g today - ha ! ha !
anyway weighed myself tonight and i'm 12 stone 4 lbs @ 5 "11 tall.
to stay under 13 stone over winter would be reasonable aim.

overall i really surprised myself but i was here before for several years until
poor sleep began to spiral into really losing the plot last few years.

I don't know my blood pressure or my cholesterol levels so that test is useless. I know my doctor says i'm grand though.

It says my heart age is 6 years older than my real age and I won't have a heart attack or stroke until I'm 76. Dunno my cholesterol either, blood pressure has been a bit low any time it was checked. I've gone mad on the junk food in the last year or two, I should probably cut that out.

I keep leaving chunks out of sentences

My folks are fairly battered but still kicking it so I'm using them as a guide
Don't want to rain on your parade but I used my folks as a yardstick for my longevity and it's really not working out at all. My mam lived until 70 and my dad got to 80, both were raging alcos and my dad was a very heavy smoker and a stranger to vegetables. So I thought I was pretty much immortal but here I am at 44 with cancer and a fuckin brain aneurysm to boot :D
