my wife has - possibly successfully - volunteered us to take on one, possibly two, rescue hedgehogs to live out their days in our back garden. if successful, there will be photos.

i have been - rather pleasantly - surprised by how endearing hedgehogs are. they're quite shy, but very curious little craturs, and we've had to rescue one on more than one occasion from her own curiosity. they're heat seeking missiles for little hidey holes, to the point where we have to consider everything we do in the garden to account for a hedgehog taking up residence in a crevice we'd have previously not given a second thought to.
