No, I haven't. Weirdly, I have a lot of albums featuring Julia Kent and have seen her a few times but have never bought any of her own solo stuff. Will check this out later, thanks.

My brother recommended the Cigarettes After Sex album to me over the weekend. I'm liking it, very easy going. Not a million miles away from Beach House,
playing here soon, too. They sounds decent. BBC6 playing them to death.
Penrose Winoa by Oro Swimming Hour. Picked up on this in a norman mailout this morning.

this is lovely. Very easy listening summery-pop along the lines of polyphonic spree, or even sufjan stevens or sparklehorse in parts.

Kind of reminds me a bit of the Martinis (Joey Santiago from the Pixies' band). These collaborations are never going to be amazing, but there are some decent tunes, on first listen.

That's alright yeah. Not bad at all, probably for fans only tho.
They announced they were forming a band years and years ago, like back in 2012 or something. I think they were calling it Super Earth at the time.
I really really liked the two Corin Tucker Band albums though, they were very overlooked.

seems this one is on the go a while. That youtube video was posted last year, it seems, even though the album is only out now.
