yr not married? marriage is a triathlon. the early days of frequent sex are the swim (flailing about, gasping for air); the middle years of family/career are the cycle (much effort, but you at least feel like yr making progress); the last leg is the run (increasing pain, weak hips and knees, time to reflect e.g. on why you didn't spend more time on the swim). except in marriage there is no finish line, one of you just dies.
