This is great because I've never seen any All Japan; the only puroresu I had any access to in the '90s was New Japan so I pretty much stuck with that, never got into AJPW or NOAH.

The concussion thing might but their classification of the workers as independent contractors is really dodge and they might lose a ruling on that.

yeah, the contractor thing is obviously bullshit but they've always managed to get around it and as far as I remember they got it upheld fairly recently by the state of Connecticut in a tax case (and holy shit, I never realised that was how you spell it).

re: concussions - just going by what I heard on Wrestling Observer radio, lots of those guys were only in WWE for a negligible amount of time when you take their whole career into account so there's little chance of holding them responsible for anything when you take into account what they did before and after their WWE time.

When I first read about this story it mentioned that Snuka, who is suing them for concussions, used concussions as an excuse for him not being mentally fit to stand trial for the murder charge in the past couple of years.
