PCs (1 Viewer)

since the PC I built about 6 years ago now specialises in glitching and taking far too long to do anything,Im going to build one from scratch.
This is going be solely for recording etc,so I wont need a fancy graphics card or anything.

Where are people buying their shit from?Any tips or tricks from anyone who's done something similar?

I used to buy from dabs.ie and whine a lot about their deliveries but they stopped selling here now. Komplett.ie? Amazon? Overclockers.co.uk can have good motherboard/cpu/memory deals.

I'm not savvy enough to build a PC. What's a good ready-to-go machine? It will be mainly used for Photoshop and other graphics software. I'd like a decent sound card with a FireWire interface too. Dell?

Yeah, it's like lego when you have everything. The only thing you might doubt yourself is slotting in RAM, you need to give it a good push in.
Same with some CPU coolers, which can require so much force to get the necessary tension on the clips they can feel like the whole thing, motherboard and all, is going to snap in your hands.
