It's just an Aussie way of saying equal treatment, but it's been popularised as a national trait because they use their own slang to represent a customary norm. We have as much a 'fair go' in Ireland (or not) as Australia.

The Quinn thing had me thinking about this again.

We have words for cute hoorism and the like. They do not.

They have the notion of a fair go named and enshrined in their culture.

I think when you name something, you show how important it is to you.

There is a silent respect for cute hoors here. They worked the system. Brown paper bags.

The kind of thing you'd expect from a corrupt culture like our own.
